Renard Ragsdale

President | Director of creative services
A graduate of Florida A&M University (BS Graphic Design), Renard has spent 14 years in the advertising and design industry. In 2001, he began his stint of 7+ years at Bennett Khun Varner (BKV) advertising in Atlanta, GA. Working as studio manager, he guided a hard-working and talented staff of designers that were responsible for producing print collateral, html email campaigns and rich media ads for Fortune 500 companies. Widely-recognized as a powerhouse in Direct Marketing, BKV services clients such as: AT&T, Equifax, Six Flags Theme Parks, The Red Cross & Make a Wish Foundation. Renard gained many achievements during his tenure including a Bronze DMA Echo Award in 2003 for the World Relief "Coffee Bean" campaign. While at BKV, he learned to manage multiple campaigns and the challenges associated with tight deadlines. It was this fast-paced and diverse environment that led Renard to realize the next stop on his journey. In 2008, he formed RDG.

As president of RDG, Renard oversees and manages a small creative workforce that has the flexibility to scale up or down to match client's needs. He is solely responsible for landing many clients including: TGI Fridays, Judge Glenda Hatchett, Allstate, and the Maynard Jackson Youth Foudation. He also maintained alliances that were forged before RDG's inception, and as a result, RDG partners with many larger ad agencies and production houses all around the country.

His software arsenal of choice is wide and varied as he believes multi-disciplinary immersion is mandatory in the digital age. He is proficient in: Adobe Creative Suite 5 (After Effects, PhotoShop, Flash, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Fireworks), ActionScript 2 & 3, CSS, HTML, HTML5 (audio/video), Cinema 4D and Swift 3D. In his spare time, he enjoys music, the arts, traveling and running. He has successfully completed a dozen 5k and 10k USTAF sanctioned races and is (at the encouragement of his wife) considering a half-marathon in the near future.
